UAE National Team Manager Looks Forward to Enter the Final and Win AFC Asian Cup Title
Alberto Zaccheroni, UAE national team’s manager claimed on Monday (28th January) that entering the finals of the AFC Asian Cup and making the Emirati fans happy is the utmost goal of the UAE players. On 29th January, at the AFC Asian Cup “UAE 2019”, the UAE players would be playing their semi-final match at the Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Alberto stated that his team had been progressing constantly in their journey in the championship battle while asserting that during Tuesday’s match the attentiveness of the players would not only remain high but also their resolve. The fans that showed their full support during Sunday’s match would remain the main source of motivation for the UAE national team and their aim would be winning the title.
He even stated that the AFC Asian Cup “UAE 2019” is completely different from the AFC Asian Cup that was played in 2011. During that period he spearheaded the Japanese national team to the title. The present edition of the championship has been defined or outlined as a peer-to-peer rivalry in every matches and making a choice about them was hard as every minor detail was important.
He also wished that he gets to see Mohammed Ahmed and Khalifa Mubarak quickly recuperating from their injuries. He even mentioned that the UAE team presently has 21 players who have the inclination, impulse and eagerness to enter the final of the AFC Asian Cup “UAE 2019”.
The team manager conveyed his sympathy at the beginning of the press meet to the Australia player, Awer Mabil, who lost his sister.
