The UAE was born 47 years ago, when its Founding Father the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan brought the seven emirates together to form a nation. Each year on 2nd December, the UAE takes the opportunity to honour the country’s heritage, thank its leaders and celebrate its emergence onto the global stage.
