Mohammed Bin Zayed City Is a Charming and Quiet Suburb
Mohammed Bin Zayed City or better known as MBZ City has turned out to be an ideal area not only for Emirati families but also for many expatriates. MBZ City is a picturesque suburb that is located on the fringe of Abu Dhabi. From the Abu Dhabi city, MBZ City is just a 30 minutes drive; thereby, it’s very convenient for those traveling to Al Ain, Dubai or Abu Dhabi Island.
The city has been named in honor of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the 45sq-km residential community consist of spacious, colorful villas that range from two to six-bedroom units, which are either located independently or within the compounds of four to six homes.
The area also has a mid-rise residential buildings, gardens and recreational facilities. Most of the homes come with their own swimming pools, private parking and large gardens.
As one unit, the villas are often rented out chiefly to local families and high-income expatriates, but others are divided to accommodate middle-income households.
Pakistani expat Tareq Mohammed stated that he loves peace and quietness, and that’s why he decided to stay in this area of Abu Dhabi. He stated that he has been staying in the area for more than six years with his family and the place is very secure and peaceful.
The area has a good number of modest shopping centers within the neighborhood, so shopping is not an issue. The Mazyad Shopping Mall might not be a leisure spot but it covers family’s necessities as it has a supermarket, sports shop, a pharmacy, gym, café, food court and other decent dining outlets. The mall has some hotel apartments, too. There is also Capital Mall. There are also many clinics and hospitals in the area for the residents’ healthcare needs.
