Mohammed bin Rashid Talks on Bilateral Cooperation with Chinese President
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, carried out discussions with the Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, China, in the presence of a high-level UAE delegation who accompanied His Highness. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Second Belt and Road Conference for International Cooperation, which is being presently convened in the Chinese capital.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated that the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Presidentof the UAE and the follow up of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is working to further strengthen its relationship and broaden partnership with China.
The leaders of the two nations have a strong aim to broaden the diplomatic partnership between the two nations, which was augmented with the visit of Xi Jinping to the UAE last year.
His Highness stated that the cooperation with China serves the future strategic vision of the UAE and backs the objectives of both nations to accelerate development.
The two nations are working to enhance participation in the business sector at a time when the number of Chinese tourists to the UAE is on the rise. Over 850,000 Chinese tourists visited China in 2018.
Welcoming His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and his accompanying delegates, the Chinese President Xi Jinping lauded His Highness’s endeavors to boost bilateral relations and seal ties between China and the UAE.
The discussion covered many topics related to strengthening bilateral relations that are going to add a new strategic measure to the longstanding relationship between the two nations.
