Mohamed bin Zayed Welcomes Togo’s President

On 11th March (Monday), His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, welcomed President Faure Gnassingbe of Togo, at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the two sides conferred on bilateral ties between the UAE and Togo, and deliberated on ways of developing their relationship to accomplish the interests of the two nations, and their peoples.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and President Gnassingbe also shared views on a number of matters of mutual interest.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed stressed on the UAE’s interest, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to back the all-inclusive development initiatives and endeavors of friendly countries to acquire sustainable economic and social development across vital areas.

The Togolese President on his part conveyed his happiness in visiting the UAE, highlighting his nation’s efforts to further extend ties with the UAE, and profit from its successful development knowledge.

He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the growth and humanitarian assistance offered by the UAE, lauding the leadership’s eagerness to build cultural, economic and investment bridges with nations from all across the globe.
