MBR Creative Sports Award Goes To Egyptian Star Mohammad Salah
Liverpool’s Egyptian star player Mohammad Salah after keeping the African Player of the Year award at the CAF Awards in Dakar, Senegal flew to Dubai in order to receive the Outstanding Arab Athlete award. This award was conferred to him during the 10th edition of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Awards ceremony.
His Highness Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, bestowed the prestigious award to Mohammad Salah during a beautiful award ceremony that was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre’s Sheikh Rashid Ballroom.
Salah was also labeled as the top three players in the world in 2018 and he helped in leading Egypt to qualifier round for the World Cup in Russia. In spite of carrying an injury he suffered during the Champions League final, Salah tried to score twice for Egypt during the the spectacular event in Russia. After receiving the award, Salah conveyed his happiness. He was delighted that on receiving the biggest award both in terms of value and variety of categories, and aimed to motivate creativity in sports, not just in the UAE, but around the Arab world as well as the globe.
