King of Jordan Awards Mohamed bin Zayed with the Order of Hussein ibn Ali
King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has conferred His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, with the Order of Hussein ibn Ali, in recognition of the role of His Highness in upholding brotherly ties and collaboration between the two nations across different sectors.
As a part of His Highness’s official visit to Jordan, a special ceremony held in Jordan during which His Highness was awarded the recognition.
King Abdullah asserted the strong ties of friendship and reciprocal relation shared between the UAE and Jordan, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. King Abdullah even lauded the great role Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed palyed in further sealing the ties across various levels of assistance and coordination.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed asserted his gratitude and appreciation to the King of Jordan. He stressed that the historical relations between the two nations, initiated by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and King Hussein bin Talal, will persist to flourish as a result of the eagerness and resolution shown by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
For the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council; Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Yousef Mana’a Al Otaiba, ambassadors to the US and other dignitaries.
The Jordanian delegation who attended the ceremony includes, Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein; Prime Minister Omar Razzaz; Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi; Advisor to the King of Jordan and Director of the King of Jordan’s Office, and many other important officials.
