His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and His Majesty Sultan Abdullah bin Sultan Ahmad Shah, King of Malaysia, reviewed ways of strengthening the cooperation between the UAE and Malaysia, as well as on several topics of mutual interest.
At the start of the meeting held on 13th June at Qasr Al Watan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed greeted His Majesty Sultan Abdullah and his team of delegates to the UAE. They also elaborated on possible opportunities of collaboration in the areas of commerce, economy, investment and development, to attain the ambition of their nation and people in terms of advancement and growth.
During the meeting, both sides shared views on the latest regional and international advancements of common interest. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed stated that relations between the UAE and Malaysia are build on trust, mutual respect and common interests while indicating his eagerness to strengthen these relations, to profit both nations and their peoples.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan added that the UAE intends to expand its relations with friendly nations, as it thinks in the significance of cooperation and joint work to accomplish development, growth, and peace, as well as advocating the values of coexistence and forbearance around the region and the rest of the world.
His Majesty Sultan Abdullah conveyed his happiness on visiting the UAE while citing his nation’s interest in augmenting the relations between the two nations, to attain the dream of their peoples.
At the end of the meeting, both sides underscored their eagerness to accomplish development, growth and advancement for their peoples while confirming their support for all regional and international efforts to achieve security, peace, stability and development, and establish regional and international talks, tolerance and coexistence.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed also held a lunch banquet in honor of His Majesty Sultan Abdullah and his delegation.
