It is going to be the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the UAE. The laying down of the foundation stone for the Hindu temple would be held on 20th April in Abu Dhabi, according to the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha (BAPS). This year, would mark the countdown to the start of construction work on the 27-acre land.

The rituals would consist of the stone being worshipped and sanctified by Hindu priests. The ceremony would be carried out at the temple site in Abu Mureikha by BAPS, which is a religious and social organization that is building the temple.
