Dubai is going to get its own ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’; however, it’s going to be four times bigger than its counterpart in Los Angeles. Emar who is the developer of iconic structures like Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Foundation and Dubai Opera has announced that they are going to start a ‘Dubai Stars’, which would be a walkable tribute to stars. The project will start with a global campaign asking people from across the globe to nominate their favorite celebrities and influencers. The first phase of Dubai Stars, which would be set along the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, in Downtown Dubai, would be opened in October at a mega event, which would be attended by the 400 featured celebrities who will inagurate their respective star.
Further underscoring Downtown Dubai as the main tourist destination in Dubai, Dubai Stars would be paying tribute to leading personalities who have positively affected the world through their work in various sectors, such as music, film, sports, art, architecture, and literature as well as social influencers.
Dubai Stars at its completion would be having more than 10,000 stars, about four times the number of stars than Hollywood walk of Fame.
