By the order of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, over 100 Emirati pupils would be receiving scholarships all throughout their academic career. The program to receive scholarship throughout academic life is now open for registration.
On Tuesday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai ordered Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), which is the emirate’s private school regulator, to arrange and start the third Mohammed bin Rashid Distinguished Students Programme.
Basically, the programme to offer scholarships has benefitted 314 Emirati students till date. The scholarship is given to highly-ambitious pupils of Dubai so that they can be a part of the emirate’s best private schools.
The programme intends to prepare young Emiratis and endow them with the skills required to “attain success and excellence through noble, smart and positive educational methods”. The programme is supervised by the KHDA in association with the Knowledge Fund and private school operators.
Started by Sheikh Mohammed in 2017, the programme is encouraged by the Dubai Ruler’s attempts to furnish distinguished Emirati students with a high-quality education.
The KHDA proclaimed the opening of registrations for the programme’s 2019-20 cycles. Students belonging to Grade 3 or above can apply for the scholarships by registering online on the KHDA website. Registration for the scholarship programme is open till 29th April.
