Abdullah Bin Zayed Gets Greeted By Canadian Prime Minister

On the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau greeted His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Sheikh Abdullah also communicated the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to the Canadian Prime Minister.

Justin Trudeau returned his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and also to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces while hoping more progression, growth and boom for the UAE.

For the meeting, the Canadian Minister of International Trade Diversification Jim Carr, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Sheikh Abdullah showed up and they debated on collaboration between the UAE and Canada. They also discussed ways to boost the cooperation so that it serves the best interest of the two nations, especially in respect to the economic, political, trade and investment domains.

The parties also swapped views on a number of international and regional issues of mutual interest. Masud Husain, Ambassador of Canada to the UAE, was also present for the meeting.
